I was inspired by my friend Chris’ Best of 2007 lists on September Police and despite it being almost May 2008, I thought I’d make my own. I’ll take any pretense to make a list, really.
Top 3 Achievements of 2007
1. Learning how to ride a motorcycle from scratch in Vietnamese traffic.
2. Motorcycling for six months from Vietnam to Thailand and back without killing me or my girlfriend.

3. Organizing a fundraising golf tournament without ever having played a round of golf.
Top 3 Things I’m Looking Forward To In The Next 6 Months
1. Utah/Arizona in 2 weeks. I had the best summers of my life working as a wilderness/desert guide, and I finally get to return to it. I’m also looking forward to “unplugging” myself from city life and really focusing on inner development, meditation and teaching wilderness skills.
2. Testing out my new Canon Powershot G9 in the desert. I even bought a sand/water-proof housing for it.

3. Motorcycling across Newfoundland in July with Josh. Riding, adventure, hiking, camping, partying. Epic.

Top 5 Documentaries of 2007
Documentaries are one of my favorite mediums and I watch an absurd amount of them. These are some of the best I’ve seen recently.
3. The Smartest Guys in the Room
Top 5 Self-Actualization Programs of the Past Two Years
1. Real Social Dynamics – The Blueprint (DVD)
2. Anthony Robbins – Personal Power II (Audio program)
3. Eckhart Tolle – The Power of NOW (Book)
4. Tim Ferris – The Four Hour Workweek (Book)
5. Neil Strauss – The 30 Day Stylelife Challenge (Book/Internet Challenge)
You’re awesome. I think that’s all that needs to be said. Life’s lists.
