Reunited And It Feels So Good…

After a long hiatus, I’m getting back into music. Playing, writing, creating.

The other day, sitting down with the guitar and playing for a few hours, I realized that I NEED to play music. That music needs to be a bigger part in my life than what it’s been in the last few years. Another realization: I’m not content now just playing established songs — I want to create. I sat down for a few hours tonight writing and felt really great. I think what I’d forgotten in the last few yeras was that creating and playing music is at least a small part of my major definite purpose.

It’s funny how I think deep down I knew this for a long time, but I’ve just now admitted it to myself.  Feels good.

Expect to see some of my songs up here in the next few months.

My New Love

Yesterday I drove one of these (yes, it was just as badass as the photo)

Bearcat

Before, I had only ever driven old machines that look something like this:

BRAVO COPY

If you’ve never driven a snowmobile, imagine driving a motorcycle on a mile-wide road made of soft, cushy snow: no fear of leaning too far into the turn, no fear of the dreaded speed wobble, no fear a careless motorist cutting you off and careening into the back of a bus.

YES

If I were going to live here in Labrador for more than one winter, I would DEFINITELY own one of these.

HOLY CRAP

  1. They had to make traffic laws for them in north NB because things got out of hand.
For ex: people trying to get drive-thru at McD’s and Tim’s.

  2. You are such a petrol head! I love it!
